Brazil coach Tite believes Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho is at his best in a central role.

Coutinho has played the majority of his games for the Selecao on the right side of a front three since Tite became coach in June 2016.

Speaking after Tuesday's draw with England at Wembley, Tite said: "If you have Coutinho in perfect condition, 100 per cent fit, we could try and play him through the middle.

"But we played with him as a winger because right now, Coutinho is playing there for Liverpool.

"If he was in a normal condition, we could try to play him in a central position."
