Brazil coach Tite has paid tribute to Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa for his work with Raphinha.
Raphinha scored twice on his full international debut.
The Leeds winger netted a goal in each half as the Seleção defeated Uruguay 4-1 to earn their 10th victory in 11 matches on their quest for World Cup qualification.
Raphinha has gone from strength to strength under Bielsa since his arrival at Leeds and Tite has expressed his gratitude to the Argentine for the work he has done with the 24-year-old.
He said: "I publicly thank Bielsa for accompanying and working with Raphinha and all the coaching staff that brought him closer to the national team.
“I spoke personally with Bielsa, and I thank him for that support with him."
