Real Salt Lake have traded Justin Braun to Toronto FC in exchange for defender Aaron Maund.
The 25-year old forward leaves the Rio Tinto Stadium after less than five months whilst 22-year old Maund spent just one season at BMO Field with the Reds.
"Aaron is a good young player who we rated highly coming out of college," RSL general manager Garth Lagerwey said.
"We think he'll help us increase our speed in the back, and we're excited to bring him to camp in January."
