Branca: Inter Milan would never pay price Chelsea did for Villas-Boas

Inter Milan chief Marco Branca says there was no way they would pay the money Chelsea did for Porto coach Andre Villas-Boas.

Branca revealed why Villas Boas joined Chelsea and not Inter.

"He had a clause in his contract, like a player," the director noted. "It was €15m.

"We don't want to give Porto a job as well as him, so why should we pay them so much? Chelsea were the only club willing to pay."
