Sunderland defender Titus Bramble was left with mixed emotions after their 2-2 draw with Birmingham City.
The big defender made an impressive debut for the Black Cats, but was left to rue two late goals as Blues took a point from the season-opening clash.
Nonetheless, Bramble can be pleased with his display and he is taking a positive attitude to the late blow.
"I've got mixed emotions after that, to be honest," Bramble told safc.com, who joined the club for an undisclosed fee from Wigan in the summer.
"It was disappointing to concede two late goals, especially as there was only one team in it for the first 60 minutes.
"We felt comfortable at 2-0, but they threw the big men up front and we found that hard to deal with.
"But we didn't lose, it's a point and we will take the positive, regroup in training and go again next week."
