Titus Bramble and Matthew Kilgallon will not be offered new contracts by Sunderland this summer.
The defensive pair fell out of favour following the arrival of Paolo Di Canio as manager and will be free to leave the Stadium of Light at the end of next month.
Both Bramble and Kilgallon come out of contract on June 30 and will be free to speak to other clubs regarding their future.
