Former Barcelona international scout Ariedo Braida is backing their move for Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
General manager of AC Milan between 1986 and 2013, Braida joined Barca in 2015 before leaving last year.
He told Mundo Deportivo: "He (Pjanic) has a Barça profile. He is a player with a profile like Xavi or (Andres) Iniesta. He is not Xavi or Iniesta but he has a lot of touch and a lot of intelligence.
"A good free-kick taker also. He is very good, with a lot of technique and many virtues. He and Lautaro (Martinez) are perfect for Barça."
Braida added: "I have been at Barça and I have seen three boys who have a lot of quality and a lot of level, also with a great profile: Riqui Puig, Collado and Monchu. They have a lot of level and talent. There is also Ansu Fati..."
