Former Barcelona scout Ariedo Braida has confirmed his old club are targeting Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

Barca are chasing a deal for the Argentina international - on recommendation of club captain Leo Messi.

Braida, who left Barca last year, told TMW: "I know they like him. They've paid bigger clauses (€111m) than his.

"I think he has the right profile for Barcelona, they could even take him.

"Of course I don't know if the coronavirus has changed something. Then maybe Inter decide to keep him and renew his contract."
