Braida: Messi for Juventus? He and Ronaldo could play together

Ariedo Braida would love to see Barcelona star Leo Messi playing in Serie A.

The former Barca and AC Milan scouting chief is well aware of talk of Messi becoming unsettled at the Nou Camp.

Braida told Radio Anch'io Sport: "Leo is an extraordinary player, we all know that. In Barcelona he is doing too well, he as well as his family, and it is very difficult that he can leave. In today's football, however, everything is possible, so I do not exclude anything.

"It depends on the turnover. I think of the big British or even the Italian ones. Messi would give an image and a global development to a certain team. He is a very expensive player, with a very high salary, but with him everything is possible. Leo is one which covers all the mistakes that are made. I repeat: in my opinion it is difficult for him to leave Barcelona, even if it is not impossible."

Asked about where he could end up, Braida continued: "At Milan (laughs). The best team would be Milan for him, I say this as a Milan player (laughs). Seriously, these are the teams."

Asked if Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi could work together, he concluded: "They are two players who are so good that with a capable manager they could very well perform at the highest levels. In my opinion Messi and CR7 can play together. Unfortunately today we always talk about the two of them, but there are no others."
