Brahim Diaz insists he's only thinking of a future with Real Madrid.
The midfielder has been linked with a move away next month.
But Diaz says, "I've always lived in the here and now, I've never thought about the future, but when a club like Real Madrid come calling, you really think about returning to Spain and playing for the best club in the world and in the history of the game.
"It was very exciting, it was a feeling of complete joy. I was always clear about the fact that I wanted to aim higher and play for the best club on the planet.
"It was a childhood dream and it was a one-off moment for my family and I."
The former Manchester City midfielder added: "I got injured and then was down in the dumps for a while. Never before had I had a bad run of injuries. I had to get over it as best I could and I think I've done that. It's now behind me, I've now got to look to the future, there's no other choice. I'm feeling good and am really raring to go. I train hard to be ready for what lies ahead and to be available for the coach."
