Emmerson Boyce is hoping things can drastically change at Wigan Athletic after a poor run in recent times.
The Latics have lost their last eight Premier League matches and defender Boyce is looking for a quick-fix to turn things around at the DW Stadium.
"We desperately need to work out how to start scoring some goals, keeping clean sheets and picking up points, before it's too late," he told the Wigan Evening Post.
"It's going to be hard for us to pull that gap back, but we have to do so starting against Blackburn in a fortnight.
"It's a challenge for us, but it's one we're up for. We have to be.
"(The Wolves defeat was) hard to take. We can moan that the result isn't fair, but Wolves took their chances and we didn't. That was the difference."
