Bowen stunned by West Ham progression since leaving Hull

Jarrod Bowen admits he's blown away by West Ham United's progression over the past two years.

The Englishman joined West Ham from Hull City two years ago with the club mired in a relegation battle.

Now the Hammers are challenging for a Champions League spot for the second successive season and have reached the Europa League last-32 stage.

"You can see the difference that has been made in those two years and that is down to the manager and this group of players," Bowen told the Daily Mail.

"When I first signed we were in a relegation battle, then my first full season was Europa League qualification and now we're speaking about the Champions League which is where we want to be as a club.

"It just goes to show the progression at the club and how far we've come

"There is happiness, togetherness and spirit at the club. Every day in training, spirits are high and that's a massive part of it.

"When you come into an environment every day and see everyone enjoying it, I think that plays a big part in the success."
