Bournemouth winger Connor Mahoney would be happy to stay at Birmingham City for another season.

The youngster has been impressive in the 32 games he played in all competitions, netting two goals in the process.

While he could go back to Bournemouth and compete for a first team spot, Mahoney told BirminghamLive he would not be opposed to returning on another loan spell.

He said: "If the gaffer did want me back here (at Birmingham) and it was right for my parent club, they want me to go on loan again and get a good season in, and they were interested, I wouldn't think twice about coming back for another season.

"The main thing for me next season is to push on, get more games under my belt and if it was here, I would be really happy.

"I am proud of my season."
