Bournemouth winger Ibe could resurrect career with Celtic - Phillips

Bournemouth winger Jordan Ibe should consider a move to Celtic to resurrect his career.

That is the opinion of former Sunderland star Kevin Phillips.

The prolific striker believes that Ibe has not been able to find his level in the Premier League.

A move to Scotland may be what the 24-year-old needs, as he has only played four times for the Cherries first team this season.

Phillips told Football Insider: "Jordon Ibe, his career has hit the railroads.

"A move north of the border might give him a chance to resurrect his career and get back to the Ibe we have seen over the years. The quality down here (in England) is far superior to Scotland.

"If they can get him on the cheap it could be a really good signing for Celtic. The way they bring players on and what does Neil Lennon does up there.

"It could be a good move for the lad. Playing in front of those amazing supporters will give him an extra 10 per cent."
