Bournemouth winger Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld is chasing a Holland recall.
Danjuma boasts two caps and hopes for a late run to the Euros as he recovers from a persistent ankle injury.
“If I show what I can do, I cherish the hope that I will be selected," he said.
"I can perform with my qualities for both club and country. I think I can be of value here and with the Dutch national team.
“In my opinion, quality is permanent, so I see this as just a small disappointment. That is why I am also working on a major comeback.
"It is very nice to see the team perform and win matches, but it just doesn't feel good to just watch. I want to help the team. I'm also not going to lie about it: it was frustrating and it still is, because I still have to rehab.
"I want to perform and I feel that I have not yet shown what I can do. That bothers me. On the other hand, I have enough time to show the fans what I have and I feel very positive, that's how I am always in life."
