Bournemouth willing to let Tomlin go on loan

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is reportedly prepared to allow Lee Tomlin to leave the club on loan this winter.

The 26-year-old forward joined the Cherries from Middlesbrough for £3.5million in the summer but has failed to force his way into Howe's lineup.

Tomlin has appeared just six times in the Premier League, starting on three occasions, and played three times in the Capital One Cup including one start in the 4-0 win over Hartlepool United.

The former Peterborough United star could be given a chance in Saturday's FA Cup third round meeting with Birmingham City but according to the Daily Mail, could well be sent on loan as opportunities continue to dry up at the Vitality Stadium.
