Bournemouth striker Wilson frustrated with simulation laws

Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is unhappy with bookings for simulation as a result of the VAR.

Wilson found himself booked for diving against Leicester City, but hopes the video assistant referee will eventually see things his way.

The attacker believes that he is not the type of player to go to ground without contact.

Wilson told the Daily Echo: "I've touched it (the ball) and the guy has obviously gone into the back of me.

"It would've been soft, but at the end of the day it's a foul. Anywhere else on the pitch that's given. The ref was quick to say it was simulation.

"I'll see it back (but) I know what I felt. I'm not just going to dive in the box when there's an opportunity on goal.

"I think there was a situation against Man City where I could've easily gone down and got a penalty but I didn't, I stayed on my feet so it shows that I'm not one of those type of players that is just going to go down soft.

"It's frustrating and summed up the day really."
