Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is chasing a place in England's Euros squad.
His chances of making Gareth Southgate's squad were hit by a near four-month Premier League goal drought.
But the hitman, with two goals in his last three Prem matches, told The Sun: “I got 14 in the league last year, I'm on seven now.
“So I've got 12 games to get where I was. I would love to be part of it. It's not nice to be injured — but there are injuries to players who are usually in the squad. There's no telling if they will be fit in time.
“As an England fan, you want to be involved in the big tournaments, especially when they are playing in your home stadium.
“If I perform for Bournemouth and get my goals, then hopefully that will get me into the squad."
