Bournemouth striker Solanke: Tavernier a big addition

Dominic Solanke has hailed the impact at Bournemouth of summer signing Marcus Tavernier.

Tavernier arrived on the south coast from Middlesbrough in August, for a reported £12million.

The 23-year-old made an instant impact, ousting Jaidon Anthony from the starting XI and impressing wherever he is selected to feature, starting all 15 Premier League games so far, in his first year at this level.

Dscussing the impact of the Leeds-born talent, Cherries striker Solanke told the Daily Echo: “He's been a big addition to the team this season.

“He's been present throughout the whole season and done really well.

“And in the last few games, he's managed to get quite a few assists and goals, so we're happy for him."
