Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban is attracting Championship interest.
The Mirror says Nottingham Forest trying to beat off late competition from Birmingham for Bournemouth striker Grabban in a £5million swoop.
Grabban,30, bagged 20 goals in the Championship last term with 12 for struggling Sunderland before a further eight after joining Aston Villa on loan in January.
Forest manager Aitor Karanka, who bossed Middlesbrough from 2013-2017, has confirmed Grabban is a player he rates.
“Lewis is a good player and I wanted him when I was at Middlesbrough. In the end he went to Norwich," said Karanka.
“I can tell you that the striker who arrives will be the right one for this club."
