Bournemouth star Joshua King admits that it was very special to score against Manchester United.
The striker got the only goal of the game as the Cherries managed a 1-0 win over their mid-table rivals.
King is a Manchester United academy graduate, coming through their youth setup in 2008 when he was 16.
He was also in the reserves being managed by current United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Now he is on fire in the Premier League.
King told the Daily Echo: "For me, it's a bit extra special because you score against your former club, former teammates some of them and your former manager for the ressies with Ole so obviously for me personally, but for the team we just take the three points."
He added: "I remember Ole was great with me. He gave me my chance in the ressies and I had a very good spell in the ressies at United when I was young. I think Ole could confirm that. I went out on a few loans to Hull, Preston and Monchengladbach and then I came back and thought it was time for me to play grown up football.
"Of course it was hard to leave. It was the biggest club in the world when I left it, with history, with Sir Alex Ferguson and of course when you move over when you're 16 you know it's going to be tough but you believe that you're going to make it through and try and get a chance.
"Sir Alex used some of the young boys like (Federico) Macheda and (Danny) Welbeck, gave them confidence but I never felt I got that chance so I felt I had to think about myself.
"Maybe I could've been patient and try and stay there in the ressies but I felt I needed to move on and play men's football."
