Bournemouth striker Grabban set for Nottingham Forest medical

Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban is set for a Nottingham Forest medical on Friday.

The Mirror says Grabban is due for a Forest medical over a £6million switch from Bournemouth, writes Mirror Football's James Nursey.

The striker, 30, is due to become Aitor Karanka's ninth summer signing as he aims to mount a promotion challenge.

Grabban spent last term on loan at Championship strugglers Sunderland and then Aston Villa, netting 20 goals in 38 appearances.

Birmingham and Middlesbrough have also been chasing the much-travelled frontman.
