Callum Wilson is in a positive state of mind as he continues his recovery from a serious knee injury.
The Bournemouth striker underwent surgery on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament during the recent international break and has commenced his rehab as he looks to get back to action as soon as possible.
Despite having a 6-9 month recovery time ahead of him, Cherries boss Eddie Howe says Wilson is in fairly decent mental health considering his season has been turned upside down.
"He (Wilson) has had surgery on his knee and he's in good form," Howe told the club's official website.
"Callum is a guy who has got a great mentality. Whether he's playing or he's injured, that doesn't really change.
"He's focused on his rehab and coming back stronger than ever. Although he faces a long recovery time, he's in good mental shape."
Prior to the injury, Wilson had scored five goals in seven appearances for the Premier League new boys.
