AFC Bournemouth came from behind to defeat Championship side Birmingham 2-1 on Tuesday night, securing their place in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
The Cherries were desperate for a win after losing their two opening Premier League matches, but they found themselves behind after 11 minutes when Maikel Kieftenbeld put the Blues in front.
However, Ryan Fraser eased their nerves when he equalised only a minute after the restart.
Matt Pugh put Eddie Howe's side ahead on the 68th minute mark after being set up by Lys Mousset.
Bournemouth face a stern challenge this weekend when they take on Manchester City at Vitality Stadium.
