AFC Bournemouth winger Matt Ritchie was not about to let mathematics get in the way of a Premier League promotion celebration.
The Cherries defeated Bolton 3-0 on Monday night to essentially secure their spot in England's top flight for next season although technically third-placed Middlesbrough still have the tiniest of chances of pulling off a miracle.
However, that miracle is a 19-goal, 3-point difference meaning Ritchie and his teammates have every right to look forward to Premier League football next term.
"It's a dream come true for everyone," said Man of the Match Ritchie who netted his side's second goal.
"Obviously the turnaround in the last couple of years has been unbelievable. I wouldn't have had a season like I've had without everyone supporting me."
Eddie Howe's Bournemouth now sit a point behind league leaders Watford with just one fixture remaining.
