Rhoys Wiggins is eager to extend his loan at Birmingham City.

Wiggins is hoping to extend his loan spell with Birmingham beyond January.

The 28-year-old, on loan from Bournemouth, has only made one appearances for the Blues this season.

But he told the club website: "I'm here until January and Birmingham is an ideal club and place for me to play my football.

"It's not too far from home...It's a club that makes sense for me, so I'm going to do my utmost to force my way into the team and perform well and hopefully extend it in January and see what it holds then."
