Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has won the Premier League Manager of the Month award for October.

Howe led Bournemouth to an impressive month, where they got ten points from their four league games.

He has now won the award in the past two seasons. His side are 6th in the Premier League.

"Very proud. We know how difficult it is at this level to consistently get positive results. The challenge you face from other teams is very strong," Howe said.

"It was a very good month for us, I thought the players were excellent in their mindset to approach games, how we saw out games when we were winning. It was very professional from everybody.

"These things are really important because the momentum built from such periods of form can certainly help your season."
