Bournemouth recall Surridge from Swansea loan

Bournemouth have recalled loanee Sam Surridge for the second half of the season.

The striker has enjoyed his spell at Swansea in the Championship so far this term.

But the England under-21 international is needed by the Cherries, who are languishing in the relegation zone of the Premier League.

He has seven goals in 23 games this season.

Bournemouth have only 20 goals in 20 games, the third lowest in the division.

Harry Wilson, a Liverpool loanee, is their highest scorer with six.

Surridge will compete with the likes of Callum Wilson, Joshua King and Dominic Solanke for a starting spot.
