Bournemouth pull back from Bielsa talks

Bournemouth are unlikely to hire a former Leeds United boss to become their next head coach.

According to Football Insider, talks between the Cherries and Marcelo Bielsa have come to an end.

The Argentine was a favourite to take on the job at the Premier League club, who are searching for a permanent replacement for Scott Parker.

Football Insider adds that Bournemouth are now set to turn to first team coach Gary O'Neil as their manager for the rest of the season.

O'Neil has been in caretaker charge since Parker was dismissed, helping the team gain 13 points in 11 Premier League games.

He had taken over after Parker was sacked following the Cherries' 9-0 loss to Liverpool in the league this season.
