Bournemouth players and staff face a tricky situation as forward Callum Wilson and captain Tommy Elphick have planned their weddings on the same date.

Wilson will be marrying his long-term partner in Coventry on June 3 while Elphick will tie the knot with his fiance on the south coast on the same day.

"I have sent out the save the date cards, and the invitations go out in January," Wilson told Sky Sports.

"But with regards to who comes and all that, Tommy has been at the club a lot longer than I have been. My wedding is going to be back home in the Midlands, so it's not really going to be who comes here and who goes there.

"We have got our weddings on the same day unfortunately, so we can't go to each other's. That said there's an open invitation to all the lads and whoever is up in the midlands area is more than welcome to come."
