Bournemouth are on the brink of signing Brentford defender Chris Mepham.

The Daily Mail says the 21-year-old is expected to join up with Eddie Howe's team this week as the clubs finalise a £13m deal plus add ons.

Mepham is a Wales international defender and made his senior debut against China in March 2018.

After coming through the club's youth system, Mepham made his debut in September 2017 and has gone on to make 48 appearances for the Bees.
