Bournemouth not rushing Danjuma return

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has reassured supporters that the club are not rushing Arnaut Danjuma's return.

The Dutchman suffered a stress fracture to his foot against Liverpool in December.

The 23-year-old has been missing since then.

Howe says they are taking their time to ensure he is 100 percent ready when he does return.

"He's okay, he's in a good place," boss Howe told the Daily Echo.

"He's come back. He's had specialist treatment, he's understandably been very frustrated by his injury.

"It's a type of injury that it's a slow process for him. So you can feel free of the injury but you have to take your training steps very slowly.

"You have to build up your load otherwise he has the potential to re-injure himself so it can be frustrating for him.

"He's in the early stages now of beginning to run on the grass again, but we are going to have to take our time with him, so we'll wait and see when he's back."
