Bournemouth not interested in Burnley keeper Pope

Bournemouth do not have an interest in signing Nick Pope.

Reports in the English national press claimed the Cherries were considering a £12 million offer for Pope, who has only played three games for Burnley this season.

But the reports are wide of the mark, according to local newspaper, the Bournemouth Daily Echo.

The paper claims that Bournemouth are happy with their goalkeepers and have no interest in acquiring Pope.

The English keeper dealt with a serious shoulder injury this season, which left him behind Tom Heaton in Burnley's pecking order.
