Bournemouth News: Fraser 'not scared of Walker'; Howe confident Afobe will refind best form

Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser has urged teammates not to fear Manchester City today.

While he admitted the red-hot title favourites were an “unbelievable team", Scotland international Fraser said City could be beaten.

He told the Daily Echo: “It's hard because you see them and they are just an unbelievable team.

“But you can't go into it scared.

“I can't go into it saying 'I am going to be scared of Kyle Walker'. I just need to try to put my game on him.

“They keep the ball for fun. I think they will win the league but I want to be part of the team who beats them.

“I want to say we ended their run."

Meanwhile, Cherries boss Eddie Howe insists Benik Afobe can recapture his best form.

Howe said: "I'm confident Benik will be ready if called upon.

"He is a very good character. He has a really good mindset towards games and is a positive guy.

"He had a period of time at the start of the season where he was out of the team and had to be very patient and then played a huge part in us staying up at the back end of last season.

"He was really good and formed a really good partnership with Joshua King.

"We know what Benik is capable of and, given the opportunity, we back him to show that."
