Bournemouth are moving for Lyon striker Bertrand Traore.
Lyon signed Karl Toko Ekambi from Villarreal on Monday and his arrival will put pressure on the forward positions.
Traore has impressed in European competition and is regarded in the £35million bracket, says the Daily Mail.
Bournemouth have plummeted down the Premier League table and need a signing to lift a squad that has been severely stretched by injury and suspensions. They want a wide forward and have discussed trying an initial loan with obligation for a set fee in the summer should their Premier League status be preserved.
Borussia Dortmund's Jacob Bruun Larsen has also been discussed on loan but prefers a permanent move and has rival interest from clubs in Germany.
