Bournemouth are closing on a deal for Sheffield United winger David Brooks.

The Daily Mail says the 20-year old Wales international is expected to have a medical on Thursday.

Brooks made 33 appearances for the Blades last season, scoring three goals and providing six assists.

After spending 10 years within the youth ranks of Manchester City, Brooks moved to United's academy in 2014. Two years later he made his first-team debut and last autumn he signed a new deal until 2021.

Bournemouth aim to sign Brooks for £12m.
