Bournemouth manager Parker: More to come from Brooks

Bournemouth manager Scott Parker insists there is still plenty of improvement to come from David Brooks.

The Wales winger scored twice in the 5-0 win over League One side MK Dons.

Parker told the Daily Echo: "I was pleased for him, because I thought he started the game poorly.

"He's missed a couple of very, very big chances, good chances. I've been in the arena, in those moments you can sometimes shirk away from responsibility and maybe feel a bit sorry for yourself that it's not your day.

"The one he does put away is an unbelievable finish. You would arguably say the ones before it are much easier than that, so fair play to David and then second half again, he's in the right place.

"It's a lovely finish. He gets his two goals. It's a good Saturday afternoon for him in terms of that, so I'm pleased."
