Bournemouth goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale wants to grab his England under-21 chance with both hands.
The youngster will get a chance to show what he can do against Turkey in a Euro 2021 qualifier.
And Ramsdale knows that given competition for places, he must grab his chance to ensure that he is the number one between the sticks for the under-21 side.
He told the Daily Echo: "I'm proud every time I get called up for England. Hopefully I can have a good crack at it this year, being it my sort of senior year in the 21s.
"Hopefully I can stamp down my place.
"I'm sure I'll go through the Leicester game (3-1 loss on Saturday) with Tim Dittmer, the goalie coach at England, just to get my mind at ease and move on and look forward to England for two weeks."
