Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is in talks with Everton.

Sky Sports says Bournemouth have given Begovic permission to talk to Everton after accepting their approach.

The 34-year-old, who joined Bournemouth from Chelsea in 2017, has just one year left on his current deal.

Begovic is wanted by Everton as cover for Jordan Pickford after losing Robin Olsen back to Roma this summer.

The veteran goalkeeper is unlikely to command a fee from the Cherries.
