Bournemouth fullback Adam Smith has welcomed the addition of Jack Wilshere.

Smith is confident on-loan Arsenal midfielder Wilshere can improve Bournemouth as a team this season.

"Jack's a massive name and I think a lot of people did not expect him to come here," he told Sky Sports News HQ.

"He's given the lads a bit of a lift and he's come on Saturday and performed well, so I'm sure if he starts on Saturday he's going to help us get a good result."
