Bournemouth fullback Adam Smith is interesting Leicester City.

Foxes boss Claude Puel is eager to land a fullback signing in January after Danny Simpson's hamstring injury.

The Sun says Daniel Amartey was sent off when he covered for Simpson against Manchester United last weekend – prompting Puel to go into the market.

Smith is on a small shortlist of players the French coach has drawn up after the 26-year-old displays in the Premier League.

He has featured in 23 matches in all competitions this season - starting 16 times in the Premier League - and assisted Ryan Fraser's late winner against Everton on Saturday.
