Bournemouth are emerging as the team most likely to secure the signature of Scott Dann.

The 34-year-old defender is now a free agent after leaving Crystal Palace this summer on the expiry of his contract.

Football Insider says the Cherries are at the front of the queue to sign Dann ahead of the new campaign.

The experienced centre-back is someone Bournemouth boss Scott Parker admires greatly.

Dann, who is an ex-Blackburn Rovers player, made 241 appearances in the Premier League.
