Charlie Daniels has stated that Bournemouth executed their game plan perfectly during the defeat against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Bournemouth's disappointing start to the campaign continued after they suffered a 1-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur but despite the loss, Daniels has stated that his side were only undone by a lapse in concentration on the day.
He told the Daily Echo: "We were disappointed but, in terms of the game plan, we were near enough perfect. We frustrated them and, apart from one very soft goal, they didn't create too many clear-cut chances.
"We would have liked to have been a little bit better on the ball but I think their press was very good. It was hard to combat that. We probably had the most clear-cut chances.
"On another day, one of them would go in and we would have come away with a point. We were frustrated that we didn't get anything from the game but we are looking forward to Stoke now and we need to win sooner rather than later."
