Bournemouth players Charlie Daniels and Andrew Surman admitted that mistakes cost their side dearly against Liverpool.
The Cherries were hoping to continue their positive form this season, but they were humbled 4-0 at home by the table topping Reds.
Both Daniels and Surman spoke after the game, talking about the mistakes the side made in conceding four goals.
Daniels said after the game: "The fact we made mistakes rather than them creating a lot of chances was the most disappointing thing.
"I thought our performance was better than it had been against Huddersfield and, apart from the goal, Liverpool didn't create a lot of chances in the first half, even if they had a lot of possession.
"They are a very good team. If you give any of the top sides chances, they are going to score and that is what we did. Our structure was good, especially in the first half."
Surman added afterward: "It was a strange game. They have a lot of quality and we set up in a way to try to stop them from hurting us. I felt we did that quite well until the first goal, which came out of nothing. I thought it was offside as well and it was a sloppy goal.
"We started the second half well and then gifted them a second. It is difficult then, you are 2-0 down against a team that can hurt you on the counter. The third and fourth goals killed us off."
