Bournemouth defender Charlie Daniels admits he was a Newcastle United fan growing up.
Daniels has been a mainstay in Bournemouth's defence across the past four seasons and has been an integral part of the Cherries side who have established themselves as a potent Premier League outfit.
He told Sky Sports: "I was a Newcastle fan growing up. When I started watching football growing up they had fantastic players like Ginola, Asprilla, Les Ferdinand, the Entertainers.
"I used to watch them a lot and my dad used to watch 'Auf Wiedersehen, Pet' a lot. So growing up me and my brother used to watch that.
"The fans are so passionate. Everything about the club just drew me to them as a young kid."
