Bournemouth defender Cook fully fit for Premier League restart

Bournemouth defender Steve Cook says he'll be fully fit for the Premier League restart.

Cook injured his hamstring against Liverpool at the start of March.

Asked whether he would be ready for the game against Crystal Palace, the 29-year-old told afcbTV: “Yeah 100 per cent. That's my view, hopefully it's the coaches' and the manager's view as well.

“I will be hopefully fit, ready, strong as well as the other lads. Everyone is looking really good.

“Everybody has looked after themselves extremely well over the lockdown period, I think we are going to have to use this as a positive, come back and be firing on all cylinders.

“My injury coincided with lockdown. It kept me busy. It's been 13 weeks since the Liverpool game and I've had my first proper session in phase two, which was nice."
