Bournemouth could be forced to sell stars King & Ake

Bournemouth may have no choice to sell star players this summer, even if they stay up!

The Cherries are in a precarious financial position due to COVID-19, and relegation would only add to their woes.

The Daily Mail reports that stars such as Nathan Ake and Joshua King are likely to go for lower than expected fees.

Bournemouth are the smallest club in the league and have to streamline their operations to survive in the long term.

Their stadium is only 11,000 and the wage bill is too high to sustain, especially if games without fans continue into next season.

25-year-old Ake is the biggest asset at the club, and could go to a team in the top half of the table.

Manchester United are linked after manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer jokingly told the player he wanted to sign a left footed centre-back, after the two teams played at the weekend.
