Bournemouth boss Howe wants disciplined dugout behaviour

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is hoping that his staff will behave themselves in the dugout this season.

The Premier League has added new roles regarding the behavior of management and coaching staff on the sidelines.

If they are getting excessive warnings from the referee, they could be punished by fines and/or suspensions.

Four warnings will be a one-match ban, while eight warnings trigger a two-match ban.

Howe told the Daily Echo: "Personally, I hope I don't have any issues with it [new rules]. I might need to have a little word with one or two of my staff.

"We don't want to see our staff getting bans and we want to set the right example to follow to our fans and the young people in the stadium.

"In saying that, emotions run very high and there is so much at stake that sometimes things do happen and things get said that you regret. But, certainly, we pride ourselves on trying to be good sportsmen."
