Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has paid tribute to departing scout Des Taylor.

Taylor, who also worked with Howe at Burnley, has left Vitality Stadium to take up a new post at Bristol City.

Howe told the Daily Echo: “Des did some invaluable work recruiting for our development squad over the past few years and, for the past year or so, has mainly been recruiting abroad.

“I have been very fortunate during my time here to have some very good scouts in the recruitment team. That said, this was a great opportunity for Des to progress his career so we would like to wish him all the best for the future."
