Dominic Solanke could make his debut for Bournemouth against Cardiff City on Saturday.
The striker joined Bournemouth from Liverpool in the early weeks of the transfer window, but has been sidelined with a knee injury.
However, manager Eddie Howe says he will be available for selection to face the Bluebirds.
"We obviously had Dominic [Solanke] on the bench on Wednesday, so he is available to play," said Howe.
"I wouldn't say he's fully match fit, but we're pleased to have him available for selection."
